International conference for the 10th Anniversary of the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the protection and promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions.

For the 10th Anniversary of UNESCO’s 2005 Convention on the protection and promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions and for the International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures (2013-2022, UN), the French National Commission to UNESCO will coorganise with the Secretariat of UNESCO two conferences at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris. Tools for Cultural Pluralism, the first of these conferences, will present some examples of good practices, at a wider European level, for the promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions used as a means for mutual understanding.

For WHOM ?
This meeting is for professionals (cultural actors, social workers, educators), representatives of the Permanent Delegations at UNESCO, and also for all those who want to discuss how cultural policies contribute to the consolidation of citizenship and the prevention of social fragmentation.
